Lydia, Sardes. Nero. A.D. 54-68. Æ (18 mm, 3.13 g, 6 h). Ca. A.D. 65. Tiberius Claudius Mnaseas, strategos. ΝЄΡΩΝ ΚΑΙCΑΡ, laureate head of Nero right / ЄΠΙ TI MNACЄΟ-Υ CAPΔIANΩN, Zeus Lydios standing facing, head left, holding eagle and scepter. RPC 3007 corr. (no monogram in rev. field as described); Waddington 5242; BMC 121. Dark green patina with contrasting sandy deposits. Very fine.
