KINGS of MACEDON. Philip II. Posthumous, ca. 315-294 BC. Fifth Tetradrachm (2.54 gm; 13 mm). Head of Apollo right, hair bound with taenia / Horseman right; below shield seen from side. Le Rider-pl. 48, 10-2, SNG ANS 731. Some minor light porosity, otherwise well struck. Choice Good VF. From the Philip Ashton Collection, acquired from Pegasi, August 2009.
