Trajan. A.D. 98-117. Æ sestertius (33 mm, 24.23 g, 6 h). Rome, A.D. 107-ca. 110. IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P, laureate bust of Trajan right, wearing aegis / S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, S C across field, trophy of arms beneath which Dacia, in attitude of mourning, seated left on shields. Cf. RIC 564 (bust); Woytek 326cC1. Rare bust type. Brown patina, very minor smoothing on obverse. Nice very fine.
