Rana Vigraha. Ca. A.D. 712-720. AR dramma (8 mm, .38 g). Nandi bull seated in centre with Brahmi legend Sri Rana (Vigra)ha around / Blank. Fishman & Todd, The Silver Damma, Y13.13. Scarce. Very fine.

According to Fishman & Todd, Rana Vigraha can be identified as Jayasimha, son of Raja Dahir, the last ruler of Sind before the Arab invasion. His bull type coins were issued in the Punjab during his exile in 713-715 following his dynasty’s defeat.
