ATTICA. Athens. Circa 118/117 BC. AR New Style Tetradrachm (28mm - 16.76 g). Ammonios, Kallias, and Apolon, magistrates. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right on amphora; two torches to the right, Z on amphora, ME below, magistrates AMM/WNI/OS, KAL/LIAS, APOL/LWN ; all within wreath. Thompson 587. Nice VF, lightly toned, good metal.
