Roman Empire Caracalla (AD 198-217). AR denarius (3.39 g. 19 mm). Rome, AD 201-206. ADVENT AVGG, galley left, with four rowers. ANTONINVS-PIVS AVG, laureate, draped bust of Caracalla right, seen from behind. ADVENT AVGG, galley left, with four rowers, two signa at stern, aquila at prow, officer standing right in the middle of the galley and giving a report or saluting the three seated imperial figures. RIC 120. Good very fine condition. Lightly toned.
