Aemilian AR Antoninianus. (3.78 g. 21 mm.) Rome, AD 253. IMP AEMILIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Mars standing left, leaning on shield and holding reversed spear; MARTI PROPVGT, (sic, abbreviated from PROPVGNATORI). RIC IV 6; RSC 25. Near Extremely Fine. Very rare in this high grade. Old cabinet and iridiscent silver tone.
