Description
An excellent Ghandaran stone oil lamp from the Indus Valley, c. 100 - 300 AD. This finely crafted example is 4” long and is carved from the blue chlorite characteristic of the region. The deeply carved vessel has three openings which create a beautiful design. Rare type, good mineral deposits. Ex Khan collection. Value range: $200 - $400
