AIOLIS. Kyme. Circa 4th Century BC. AR Hemiobol (7mm - 0.34 g). Forepart of a horse right / Floral pattern with Γ-E-N-I-Λ-O between petals. SNG Ashmolean -; SNG Copenhagen -; SNG München -; SNG von Aulock -; BMC -; See CNG E-296, lot 46 or E-218, lot 217 for a similar specimens from different magistrates. VF, toned, some deposits. Rare.

Evidently part of a series that is inadequately published in the standard works. Most of the works have a similar issue without the magistrate's name on the reverse (Copenhagen 34, von Aulock 7692 etc.) which is probably earlier than the magistrate issues. .
