JUDAEA, Bar Kochba Revolt. 132-135 CE. Æ 25mm (9.37 g). Irregular issue. Dated Year 2 (133/4 CE). 'For the freedom of Israel', vine leaf on tendril / 'Shimon', seven-branched palm tree with two bunches of dates. Mildenberg 177 (O11/R16 - this coin cited as specimen 3); cf. Meshorer 260a; cf. Hendin 1408. VF, dark green, almost black, patina, some earthen deposits, obverse weak and off-center. Rare.
