SASANIAN KINGS. Hormizd II. 303-309 AD. AR Drachm (27mm - 4.25 g). Bust of Hormizd II right, wearing eagle crown with korymbos / Fire altar with ribbons and bust right in flames; flanked by two attendants, the left wearing mural crown without korymbos, the other wearing eagle crown with korymbos. SNS type Ia/-; Göbl -; Sunrise -. EF, obverse and reverse die breaks, charming style and a nice flan.

Apparently unrecorded with the left hand attendant wearing only a mural crown. Despite the small die breaks, a coin of unusually fine style and quite attractive.
