Anonymous [SAX]. Circa 168-159 BC. Æ As (30mm - 25.09 g). Rome mint. Laureate head of Janus; I above / Prow of galley right; SAX above, I before, [R]OMA below. Crawford 180/1; Sydenham 361; BMCRR -. Good Fine, dark greenish-brown patina, light earthen highlights.

A duplicate from the RBW Collection of Roman Republican Coins. Purchased privately from Richard Schaeffer in December 1992.
