ARKADIAN LEAGUE. Tegea. Circa 460-450 BC. AR Hemidrachm (15mm - 2.33 g). Zeus Lykaios seated left, holding scepter; eagle flying left from his hand / Head of Kallisto right, wearing tainia, within incuse square. Williams, Confederate, period III, 218 var. (O-/R137); BCD Peloponnesos (Tegea) 1716 (same dies). Near VF, toned, porous, softly struck obverse. Very rare.
