CONSTANTINE II, as Caesar. 317-337 AD. Æ Follis (19mm - 3.14 g). Nicomedia mint. Struck 328-9 AD. CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C, plain-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right / PROVIDEN-TIAE CAESS•, camp-gate with no doors and two turrets, star above; SMNA. RIC VII -; LRBC -. Near EF, green and brown patina with a trace of silvering.

Similar to RIC 157 but that is listed as laureate. The plain diadem is also recorded on a coin of Constantine, also from officina A (see RIC pg. 627, not 154).
