Syria, Seleukis and Pieria. Seleukeia. Civic issue. Ca. 300-281 B.C. Æ 22 mm (9.28 g, 10 h). Under Seleukos I. Laureate head of Zeus Keraunos right / ΣEΛEYKEΩN, winged thunderbolt; below, monogram. Hoover 1385; WSM 897; BMC 5. VF, dark green-black and tan patina, light sandy deposits.

Even though the types and legend do not reference Seleukid authority, this coin is often catalogued as a Seleukid issue as it is most notable for being the only civic bronze coin struck under Seleukos I.
