Seleukid Kingdom. Seleukos II Kallinikos. 246-226 B.C. AR tetradrachm (30 mm, 16.66 g, 9 h). Uncertain mint, probably in Mesopotamia or Commagene, possibly Samosata. Diademed head of Seleukos II right / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣEΛ-EYKOY, Apollo standing left, testing arrow and resting elbow on tall tripod; in left field, ΔIO monogram. SC II Addendum C742.5 (same dies as illus.); Hoover 303dd. Good VF, die rust on obverse.
