Ptolemaic Kingdom. Ptolemy II Philadelphos. 285-246 B.C. Æ obol (26 mm, 16.73 g, 12 h). Alexandria, ca. 274-272 B.C. Laureate head of Zeus right / BAΣIΛEΩΣ [ΠTOΛEM]AIOY, eagle with wings displayed standing left on thunderbolt; in left field, monogram above shield; between legs, monogram. Svoronos 553; cf. Weiser 11 (monogram between legs); SNG Copenhagen 119-20. VF, brown patina, some roughness.
