Septimius Severus (193-211), Cilicia, Diocaesarea, Æ, 17.75g, 30mm. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind; c/m: eagle standing right / Hexastyle temple; three [Nikaia] on roof, bucranium in pediment, winged thunderbolt between centre columns, altar and tree to left. SNG France 867; SNG Levante Suppl. 178; SNG Cop. -; SNG von Aulock; BMC 6; for c/m: Howgego 337. Very fine, countermark on obverse. Scarce.
