Elagabalus (218-222), Phoenicia, Berytus, Æ, 19.80g, 31mm. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Astarte standing facing, left foot on prow of galley right, holding trident and resting hand on raised knee; to right, Nike sanding left on cippus; all within tetrastyle temple with annulet in pediment, akroteria on roof; below, two genii on dolphins facing central stairway. SNG Cop. 114; BMC 175-182; AUB 101. Good Very fine, some adjustment marks.
