Pub. Lentulus Marceli. 100 BC. AR Denarius (18mm - 3.95 g). Rome mint. Bust of Hercules right, wearing lion's skin; club over shoulder and shield above; G (retrograde) to left, ROMA below / Roma standing facing, holding scepter and being crowned by Genius; G (retrograde) between figures, LENT. MAR. F in exergue; all within wreath. Crawford 329/1a; Sydenham 604; Cornelia 25. Good VF, attractive toning with some blue and gold, some deposits on the obverse.
