OCTAVIAN. 32-31 BC. AR Denarius (19mm - 3.64 g). Italian (Rome?) mint. Bare head right / CAESAR DIVI F, Mercury (or Apollo?) seated right on rocks upon which is spread his cloak, petasus (or shield?) slung on his back, holding lyre set on knee with both hands. RIC I 257; CRI 401; BMCRE 596-8; BN 73-6; RSC 61. VF/Nice F, toned, obverse slightly rough.
