RUSSIA, Catherine II, “the Great”. 1762-1792. Æ 5 Kopecks (49.20 gm; 41 mm). Ekatrinburg mint. Dated 1781. Crowned double-headed imperial eagle facing, with wings spread, holding scepter and orb; on breast, Order of St. Andrew around coat-of-arms of Moskva; / Crowned monogram within wreath. Bitkin 625; Uzdenikov 2738; KM 59.3. Sharply struck on a nice full flan. Nice original brown reddish patina. Choice Superb EF "Almost as Struck".
