KINGS of ELYMAIS. Orodes II. Early-mid 2nd century AD. Æ Tetradrachm (15.08 gm; 27 mm). Uncertain mint. “wrwd mlk” in Aramaic script, bearded facing bust, wearing diadem and tiara; to right, star-in-crescent above anchor with one crossbar at bottom / Dashes in linear pattern. Van’t Haaff 13.3.1-3A; Alram 477; PCD 22652 and 11704. Well struck on a nice full flan. Well centered. Dark brown-reddish patina. Choice EF.
