TROAS, Alexandria Troas. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Circa mid 3rd century AD. Æ (5.64 gm; 20 mm). Turreted and veiled bust of Tyche right, with vexillum over shoulder; CO L TRO?S around / Eagle standing facing, head left, with wings spread, on head and neck of bull right; COL ? VGO TRO around. Bellinger Type 48, A491; SNG Copenhagen 115. Sharply struck. Wonderful original dark green patina. Choice Superb.
