ROMAN EMPIRE: Maximinus II, AE Follis, AD 309-313 (23.5-24mm, 6g), Thessalonica Mint. Obverse: Maximinus, facing right. Reverse: Jupiter standing front, nude but for chlamys and head to left, holding globus in right hand and long scepter in left; in left field, wreath; in right field, E or B. If E, then reference is RIC 50a. This, however, appears to be a B in exergue. Possible variant of type? VF.
