ALTERIVS SIC ALTERA / POSCIT OPEM in two lines in exergue, The river god Tiber reclining right beneath trees; before him, the Capitoline she-wolf suckling the city founders, Romulus and Remus, in the section ALTERIVS SIC ALTERA - POSCIT OPEM / NICOLAVS / CAVALIERI.SAN-BERTOLO / ACAD. TIBERINAE / PRAESIS / A. AB. ACAD. INST. XLV. / V. C. MMDCIX. Nice deep brown patina. Extremely fine.
