CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 280-272 BC. Silver Nomos (6.26 gm; 20 mm). Youth on horseback left, crowning horse with wreath, "EY" to right, inscription below horse; Reverse: Taras astride dolphin holding a trident above head, owl to right in field, "TARAS" below. Vlasto 834. Well struck on a good metal. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
