CELTIC, Lower Danube. Uncertain tribe, Imitating Philip III of Macedon. 2nd century BC. AR tetradrachm (15.80 g, 31.3 mm). Stylized head of Herakles right, wearing lion’s skin / Degraded legend, Zeus seated left holding eagle and scepter; monogram in left field, I beneath throne. Lanz 920-32; CCCBM I 195-8. Toned VF.
