ARKADIAN LEAGUE. Mantinea. Circa 465-460 BC. AR Hemidrachm (13mm - 2.39 g). Zeus Lykaios seated left, holding scepter; eagle flying left from his hand / Head of Kallisto left, hair bound in sakkos, within incuse square. Williams, Confederate, period II, - (O-/R68); BCD Peloponnesos (Mantinea) -; SNG Copenhagen 172 (same reverse die). Near VF, toned, struck from worn reverse die, a few light marks under toning.
