KINGS of BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kings. Menander. Circa 165/155-130 BC. AR Drachm (17mm - 2.39 g). Diademed heroic bust left, with aegis and spear / Athena Alkidemos advancing left, holding shield on left arm, hurling thunderbolt held in right; monogram behind. Bopearachchi 9B; SNG ANS 748. Good VF, some minor roughness on the reverse. Housed in and NGC slab where graded Ch. VF, 5/4.
