SASANIAN KINGS. Valkash (484-488 AD). Æ (0.78 gm; 13 mm). Bust of Valkash turning right, letters “HW, KD” for Good King in front of face, standard two rings, reverse fire altar with attendants, figure in the altar, two ring as standard issue, mint: AI for Airan – Susa, no name or year. Lovely strike on a nice flan. Choice aEF. Nice orginal find green earthen patina. Extremely rare.
