Sextus Pompey. 43-36 BC. Æ As (28mm - 13.31 g). Uncertain Sicilian mint. MAG N above, laureate head of Janus with the features of Cn. Pompeius Magnus / PIVS above, IMP below, prow of quinquereme right. Crawford 479/1; CRI 336; Sydenham 1044; RPC I 671. Fine, attractive green patina with nice surfaces, soft strike on right hand side of obverse and back of prow.
