ISLANDS off CARIA. Rhodos. Rhodes. Circa 250-230 BC. AR Didrachm (20mm - 6.65 g). Mnasimachos, magistrate. Radiate three-quarter facing head of Helios facing slightly right / P-O, rose with bud to right; MNAΣIMAXOΣ above, Athena holding aphlaston and scepter to left. Ashton 208; SNG Helsinki 537; SNG Copenhagen 765. Nice VF, attractive toning, a few small spots of die rust and a small flan flaw on left cheek. Attractive.
