Islamic, Arab-Sasanian, temp. 'Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan (AH 65-86 / AD 685-705), Drachm, issue of Salm ibn Ziyad, governor of Khorasan, 4.26g, 32mm. Crowned Sasanian-style bust right; bismillah in Arabic in outer margins / Fire altar with ribbons and attendants; star and crescent flanking flames. Gaube 99. Extremely fine.
