Terracotta True Cross Token. Byzantine, 630-640 AD. Uniface token, featuring Constantine, Helena and the Cross, two X’s above. Issued on the recovery of the True Cross from the Persians, and is said to have been made with ashes from a fragment of the Cross. Pegasi.106.T2
