Bronze Seal Matrix. Spain, XIII-XIV Century AD. S DE PER IANES (Seal of Pedro Inez) , shield of arms (lion rampant) in square in quadrilobe, crosses top and bottom, scallop-shells (symbols of Santiago de Campostella) to sides. 1 5/8” across with loop handle. Intact. Evocative relic of the Spanish Reconquista.
