Sicily, Syracuse. Agathokles. 317-289 B.C. Æ litra (23 mm, 8.65 g, 4 h). Ca. 306/4-289 B.C. ΣΩΤΕI[ΡΑ], bust of Artemis Soteira right, quiver at shoulder / AΓΑΘΟΚΛΕΟΣ [Β]ΑΣΙΛΕΟ[Σ], winged thunderbolt. CNS 142; BAR issue 33; SNG ANS 708. Dark brown patina with a few light earthen deposits. Nice very fine.
