Macedonian Kingdom. Philip II. 359-336 B.C. AR tetradrachm (23 mm, 14.07 g, 1 h). Amphipolis, ca. 323/2-316/5 B.C. Laureate head of Zeus right / ΦΙΛΙΠ-ΠΟΥ, youth on horseback right, holding palm; below horse's belly, branch; below horse's raised foreleg, Π· monogram. Le Rider pl. 46, 5; Troxell grp. 8, 316; SNG ANS 683-7. Lightly toned, test cut on reverse. Well centered. Extremely fine.
