Description
Euboia, Histiaia. 3rd-2nd centuries B.C. AR tetrobol (14 mm, 1.88 g, 12 h). Wreathed head of the nymph Histiaia right, wearing earring and necklace / IΣTI-AEΩN, nymph seated right on stern of galley right; on side of ship, wing; in exergue, trident head. BCD 402; cf. SNG Copenhagen 527. Good metal and pleasing style. Nearly extremely fine.
