SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Seleukos I Nikator, sole reign. 312-294 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25mm - 17.07 g). Babylon mint. Struck in the name of Alexander III, circa 311-300 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / Zeus seated left, holding eagle in right hand, scepter in left; anchor before, K below throne. SC 67.5c var. (monogram between anchor and knee); Price 3439 var. (same). Good VF. Housed in an NGC slab where graded XF, 5/4.
