KINGS of BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kings. Menander. Circa 165/155-130 BC. AR Drachm (18mm - 2.45 g). Diademed bust left, seen from behind, holding spear, aegis on shoulder / Athena Alkidemos advancing left, holding shield and thunderbolt; monogram to right. Bopearachchi Série 7C; SNG ANS 723-744 var. (monogram). Good VF. Housed in and NGC slab where graded Ch. VF, 4/3.

A very rare issue, only one specimen with this monogram in the Ashmolean cited by Bopearachchi, none on Coin Archives or on CNG's web site.
