CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Senones. Circa 100-50 BC. Æ 16mm (2.94 g). Celtic head right; S ornament before mouth / Abstract bird left, two pellets within wings; degenerate YLLYCCI above, pentagram and S (retrograde) above, two pellet-in-annulets below. D&T 2637 var.; Depeyrot, NC V, 130 var.; CCCBM III -. Good VF, black patina. Very rare variety.
