MARCIAN. 450-457 AD. AV Solidus (19mm - 4.20 g). Constantinople mint. D N MARCIA-NVS P F AVG, diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder and shield with horseman motif / VICTORI-A AVGGG, Victory standing left, holding long jeweled cross; star in right field; CONOB. RIC X 510; Depeyrot 87/1. Near EF from the standpoint of wear, but lightly clipped and the edge from 2:00 to 4:00 bumped and folded over itself slightly, some roughness.
