Description
A light blue faience face of the goddess Hathor, 3rd Intermediate Period, c. 1075 - 945 BC, with black cosmetic lines and red lip. An interesting and very unique piece with long tab below the chin to be fitted into a larger composition, such as a mirror. H: 2” (5.1 cm). A few chips, but an interesting piece! Ex Negus collection, UK, late 19th Century.
