Description
A Late New Kingdom terracotta ushabti, 19th - 20th Dynasty, c. 1292 - 1075 BC, mummiform, with tripartite headdress, arms crossed over breast. Frontally molded with handsome facial features. Details picked out in black pigment, including the hoes on either side of a vertical band of text down the front and the basket & water jugs on the back. H: 7” (17.7 cm). Intact. Ex Dr. Gilles collection, Germany, acquired prior to 1970.
