Description

A lot of 3 very nice terracotta fragments. Lot includes a terracotta plaque depicting Harpokrates with enormous phallus, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, showing nice style and detail, H: 3 5/8” (9.2 cm); a head of Harpokrates with tall headdress, H: 3 ¼” (8.2 cm); and a triangular-shaped handle from a Roman oil lamp with the bust of Serapis, 2nd Century AD, H: 4” (10.2 cm). A nice trio! Ex Dr. Gilles collection, Germany, acquired prior to 1970.
