Description
A nice Villanovan / Etruscan Impasto Kyathos, early 8th Century BC, the walls angles out with flattened base and vertical rim. The handle is elaborate with a crescent-shaped terminal. Area of professional restoration and repair on one side, few minor rim chips. H: 3 ¾” (9.5 cm); W: 5 ¼” (13.3 cm). Ex Orange County private collection. A nice example of this rather unique style of pottery.
