A pair of Syrio-Palestinian terracotta lamps, Holy Land, c. 5th - 7th Century AD, the first with high ridge around fill-hole and spout, pinched handle and a cross just above the spout, L: 4 3/8” (11.1 cm); The second decorations around the fill-hole and above spout, rounded handle and indented base, L: 4” (10.2 cm). Both intact with signs of ancient use and light earthen deposits. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
