A group of 10 bone hairpins and styluses, Roman, c. 1st - 3rd Century AD. Group includes 3 styluses for writing on wax tablets, 5 hair pins, and two larger objects. Many with nicely turned terminals, one of the hair pins with traces of pigment, the spiraling decorative pattern remaining. Longest 6” (15.2 cm) in length.Ex Los Angeles collection.
