A choice Roman bone hairpin with detailed bust of a woman, 1st - 2nd Century AD. In perfect condition, the woman wears a kalathos, her features delicately rendered with hair styled back in waves, her robes indicated with ‘V-shaped’ lines. L: 4 ¾” (12.1 cm).
